AT EASTSIDE ATHLETIC CLUB, six clay courts and two hard courts fill a picturesque, gentle sloping site below the clubhouse, with room for four additional courts as membership grows. At night, the newest and finest lighting systems available will make evening play readily accessible.

For program assistance, our Tennis Professionals can assist you and your family with a variety of needs at every level of play. Along with offering group and private lessons, we regularly arrange mixers, leagues, tournaments, drill groups, junior clinics and matches with fellow club members. We share the same goal for all our players: To ensure that all players enjoy the game while having the opportunity to improve their skills.

Eastside Athletic Club is the home facility for a number of USTA and ALTA teams, including Men’s, Women’s, Junior’s and Mixed Doubles.

Club Pro
Eastside Athletic Club is proud to have Chris Palmer as the new Director of Tennis. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and over 10 years experience having directed programs in Seoul, Korea, Carmel, CA, and most recently at the Stone Mountain Tennis Center. He has put together a program with a little something for everyone. Theme Clinics, Round Robins and Drill Sessions are just a taste of what Eastside’s new Tennis department has to offer.

Hobson Performance Tennis Academy
Our Academy goal is to take the competitive players to the next level technically, tactically, physically and mentally. We encourage good attitudes, hard work, and discipline. We now have 48 junior players, ages 10-18 years – 33 of them having strong USTA rankings. Director Ashley Hobson has 25 years coaching and playing experience. He has coached at the elite Academy level, on the ATP, WTA and ITF International Junior tours in over 60 countries with 2 top twenty WTA players and as a National coach, coaching and captaining teams competing in Davis Cup, Fed Cup, World Youth Cup (U16 world team event), World Junior Tennis (U14 world team event), Asian Games and the All China Games.
